The Mikomax Hushlock brings all office storage together in one system. Wardrobe, archive cabinets, personal lockers, drawers and open compartments all belong to the same range, with the same finish. Instead of five different pieces from five suppliers, you get one coherent whole.
The system is fully modular. You build the unit tall and narrow against a wall, or low and wide as a room divider between workstations. The modules are also stackable, and you place them free-standing or on a metal base.
For hot-desking setups, the personal lockers are especially useful. They come with a mail slot, so colleagues can drop off documents without the locker having to be opened, and with a choice of key lock or combination lock. The latter saves a great deal of trouble with lost keys.
The archive cabinets come with regular doors or a sliding door, which helps in a narrow corridor where a swinging door gets in the way. Extra shelves can be ordered.
What sets the Hushlock apart from an ordinary locker unit is that it can also be furniture. With felt panels and an upholstered seat, the cabinet becomes a bench or a resting point. With a planter on top, it becomes a green accent. And with a full-length wardrobe plus a shoe cabinet with drip tray, you cover the changing area too.
You combine a white or anthracite body with fronts of your choice: matt or high-gloss white, or wood in acacia or oak. The felt upholstery for the seating comes in several colours.
The Hushlock is made in Europe and comes with a five-year warranty.
