The RH Axia Exclusive is the top model in the Axia range, combining a refined finish with the ergonomics RH is known for. The chair is built around biomechanical principles, which means it was designed around how your body works rather than how a chair is supposed to look.
The difference lies in the split seat. The front part of the seat stays fixed and only the rear part moves with you when you lean back. As a result, your seat height stays the same and your feet keep contact with the floor, instead of you being tilted upwards with pressure on your thighs. That is exactly where many chairs with a synchronous mechanism fall short.
You operate the Axia 2.0 mechanism from either side, and it lets you set the angle between roughly 90 and 105 degrees. Seat and backrest move together in a fixed ratio. The pelvic brace principle keeps your pelvis supported in every posture, even when you lean forward to type.
Seat height ranges from 410 to 560 mm, a wider range than most office chairs, making it suitable for both shorter and taller users.
Because the construction is modular, the chair can be configured to measure for specific complaints. Think of an adapted lumbar support, different cushion heights or adapted armrests. That makes the Axia Exclusive an interesting choice when a standard office chair is not enough.
Certified to EN 1335 and supplied with an EPD in accordance with ISO 14025. Designed by the Flokk Design Team.
