The Aom armchair is a single-seat lounge armchair by Arper, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, with a lightweight structure in expanded polypropylene (EPP) and an upholstered seat, here in Canvas 2 by Kvadrat. For lounges, waiting areas and shared zones in offices, hospitality and education.
The upholstery is applied without glue, so a technician can remove and replace it. A worn or stained fabric therefore means new upholstery and not a new armchair. The downside: the structure is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, but whether the chosen fabric holds up outdoors depends on that fabric.
